Hello

My name is Dr. Jenna Wilson

Philadelphia Veterinarian

Dr. Jenna Wilson grew up in the Philly suburbs in Havertown, PA. When she was about 8 years old Dr. Wilson wanted to be a dolphin trainer after a family trip to the aquarium. That quickly evolved into wanting to be a vet after they got their childhood dog, Nicky. During high school Dr. Wilson volunteered at the SPCA.

Dr. Wilson went to undergrad at the University of Delaware. She graduated cum laude and as a Summer Scholars “All Star”. Dr. Wilson also received the opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand. After undergrad, she was sure she wanted to work with small animals. Dr. Wilson went to vet school at the University of Florida where she thought about pursuing a residency in surgery before realizing how much she liked general medicine. Dr. Wilson has spent the last few years at a general practice in PA.

Dr. Wilson's professional interests include Surgery and Neurology. She is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and says her favorite part about being a vet is that she finds it satisfying when she has a difficult case and can learn something new in the process about how to treat an animal’s illness and along the way she can learn something about herself as a doctor.

Dr. Wilson adopted a dog named Ruby during vet school - she's a scruffy little love bug who loves going on hikes and canoeing/kayaking. She also has a cat named Gator! She got him from a technician at her previous job because he was in need of a home and Dr. Wilson was in need of a cat. Gator and Ruby love playing together. Dr. Wilson just moved into the Fairmount neighborhood from Conshohocken. Outside of work she likes to spend a lot of time outdoors hiking or traveling, and recently took up embroidery.
