Meet Penny Penelope:

Penny of @pennypenelopeplacemats is an aerialist, maker, storyteller, folk dancer, and first time cat parent to a bonded pair of cats. She found her creative voice much later in life and that's ok, because life is long and goals don't have expiration dates. Penny started sewing in 2025 when she was 31 after being inspired by her best friend's quilt show. Her first quilt attempt turned into a mini quilt turned into a placemat turned into a cat mat. These "cat mats", as she calls them, are nestled throughout Penny's home in Chestnut Hill and she figured that if her cats enjoy them so will yours!
