Dr. Zack Glantz joined Art City Vets a few months after the practice opened. Originally from Sarasota, Florida, he earned his undergraduate degree in Evolution and Ecology from Boston University, and his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania. Since graduating, he has been practicing small animal medicine in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Art City Vets, he spent several years in a South Philadelphia practice, where he developed strong clinical interests in dermatology, nutrition, behavior, and dentistry. Over the course of his career, he has also mentored many new and early-career veterinarians.
 

As Medical Director, Dr. Glantz focuses on building high-performing clinical teams, optimizing hospital operations, and maintaining a standard of care that balances medical quality, efficiency, and client experience.
 

He lives in Philadelphia with his husband and their son. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the city and keeping up with Philadelphia’s evolving food scene.
