I grew up in Connecticut as the oldest of four! For my undergraduate degree I attended Fairfield University in Fairfield Connecticut and majored in Biology with a minor in Health Studies. During this time I studied abroad in Brazil doing research on endangered species in the Atlantic Rainforest. After my undergraduate I worked in a research lab at Yale University studying rare congenital birth defects in pediatrics. I then moved to Philly where I attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary medicine to earn my VMD. Following graduation I completed a small animal rotating internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates. I fell in love with Philly and decided to stay! My professional interests include acute trauma, surgery, and improving client education.

 

I have five furry children; 4 cats (Theodore, Gus, Gritty, and Monkey) and one golden retriever (Rivers). I enjoy spending time outside exploring national parks, bike riding, and going to the beach. I love all the Philly teams (Go birds!) and enjoy going to games. I also spend a lot of time volunteering with a local cat rescue, and have a strong interest in rescue / shelter medicine. I am excited to provide the best possible care to all of my patients and their families!
